By Jay Hunter – Fan page, Jurassic Outpost and Reel News Hawaii are reporting that the Jurassic World sequel, helmed by J.A Bayona will begin production in Hawaii on February 27th, 2017. It’s unclear as to whether this date will be the start of filming itself, or just the beginning of pre-production. As well as Hawaii, Jurassic World 2 will be filming partially in London, most likely at the world famous Pinewood Studios, instead of the cobbled streets themselves.
Not much is known about the upcoming movie, however Chris Pratt has revealed that he has signed on for multiple sequels which is understandable considering how much the first Jurassic World made for Universal. Also on board for the movie is Derek Connolly, who’s returning to will return, but after the effects of the first movie, will have a different take on her character. Many fans are still hoping that Jeff Goldblum will return to the franchise after the actor stated that he’d be open to a return.
Jurassic World is set for a June 22nd, 2018 release.
