“Everyone is expecting it [Negan’s victim] to be devastating, and it is” – Ross Marquand on The Walking Dead season 7 premiere.

Greg Nicotero has previously stated that the walkers would become more and more decomposed with each passing season The Walking Dead’s season 6 premiere total viewership was nearly 20 million people

By Jay Hunter – Record breaking television show, The Walking Dead returns to our screens this October for it’s seventh season. The show has a extremely passionate fanbase clambering for any and all information regarding the new season. With questions reaching fever-pitch after the season six cliffhanger, we’re still no closer to finding out which character has reached the end of their journey, by the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Lucille.

From the trailer originally aired at San Diego Comic-Con, we can see season seven will introduce The Kingdom, headed by King Ezekiel (and his tiger). However, the new clip seems to be hinting that Daryl won’t make it to the groups new destination, with Dwight wearing a very familiar winged jacket.

It’s also visible in the clip how decomposed the walkers now are, reiterating that humans are still the most dangerous threat to Rick and co. Greg Nicotero also released some new images of the walkers from the upcoming season via his Instagram
