New Images From The IT Remake. Including Javier Botet’s The Leper

The leper character didn’t appear in the original 1990 TV movie, however fans of the book will know ‘the leper’ is a form IT took when encountering Eddie, under the porch at the house on Neibolt Street.

By Beth McConnell Naturally, horror movie remakes are often met with distain from fan communities and Hollywood in turn is ridiculed for it’s like of original ideas. This is no more true than in the case of the IT remake which has endured a bumpy ride in order to make it to the big screen. Director changes and budget problems have delayed the movie numerous times but now with Andy Muschietti at the helm, we’re finally close to seeing Pennywise on the big screen, although you can see a full image of Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise (here) right now.

The director recently released some teaser images from the movie via his Instagram, in the first image we can see a ‘missing’ poster for Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard).

The movie will also star Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor as the members of the infamous Losers Club. Pennywise will be played by Bill Skarsgard, the creature who terrorises the group of friends in a small town in Maine.
