Resident Evil remastered and the Outlast sequel demo are just two of a host of horror games available to players this Halloween

By Jay Hunter Despite Red Barrel’s highly anticipated horror sequel, Outlast 2 being delayed until 2017, players will now have the chance get a taste thanks to a newly released demo on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The games plot follows Blake Langermann, an investigative journalist and cameraman working alongside wife Lynn. When they crash-land and roam the Supai region of the Sonoran desert they delve into the mysterious murder of a young, pregnant woman only known as Jane Doe.

The demo, although brief gives players a great feel for the game, making your way though a cornfield, the taster boasts brilliant physics and lighting (see above), which immersers you as the creepy going on soon escalate.

For PS4 players who want more than just a demo, Resident Evil remastered made it’s way onto the PS store as a free download for Playstation Plus subscribers.
