By Jay Hunter – Having just released their new video (see above) for A Different World featuring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, legendary nu-metal band, Korn sat down with iMDB and spoke about their favourite horror movies. Of course there’s a lot of classic movies in there, but one or two may surprise you!

The Omen (1976)the omen

James “Munky” Shaffer (guitar): “This was a film I watched at an early age, 7 or 8. It was very intriguing that a small boy could possess such evil powers through thought. (Spoiler Alert!) At the end, when the boy’s father discovers his son is the devil and has to kill his own child, it was very frightening to me.”

The Exorcistthe exorcist

Jonathan Davis (vocals): “That film is just plain horrifying: the little girl possessed by a demon, her bed bouncing up and down in the middle of the night, the crucifix scene. Come on! That’s traumatising.”

The Beast of Yucca FlatsThe Beast of Yucca Flats

Brian “Head” Welch (guitar): “It’s the worst horror movie ever made. Actually, it’s considered one of the all-time worst films in any genre!”

The Children of the Cornchildren of the corn

Ray Luzier (drums): “I grew up on 118 acres, and there were a ton of corn fields. That movie really messed me up. I never walked in a cornfield alone again!”

Salem’s Lot (1979)Salem's Lot (1979)

Jonathan Davis (vocals): “It was my first introduction to vampires. I was very young when I saw it. And after seeing that movie, I remember being terrified of vampires knocking at my window wanting to come get me.”
